How to Use the Spray Gun to Paint Your Car

Spraying your car can be stressful especially if you are not a professional; the solution is to learn how to spray with a car paint gun. This is an alternative to the officially used box.

Personally, I think the hardest part about using SATA spray guns is how to install it. Again, this can become a habit for you if you continue to practice what you are going to learn as you read together.

The first step.

Check the ventilation and fluids on your spray gun for proper delivery. Adjust the gun to spray horizontally when you fully open the air knob. Then adjust the fluid knob so you can press the trigger 1/4 inch with each pull.

Second step.

Multiple light sprays with a circular motion are better than a single heavy spray. You should aim for a thin layer that you apply on any fine part before spraying your car. If the car paint gun is not used properly, you will find the structure of the oil scale after the paint dries.

Third step.

It all depends on the surface on which you use the spray. If it is cramped, set your fan model to have a narrower spray. Do the same on a wide surface like the back of the car.

Fourth step.

Your car paint gun should be held about 7 inches from the surface you will be painting on. Hold the spray upright as you move about 3 inches from the center of the surface. Remember to release the trigger at the end of each stroke. Repeat this technique for professional results.
