Gather the Tools

The first step in repairing your Android screen is to gather the necessary tools. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver, a spudger, a heat gun, and a replacement screen.

You can purchase a replacement screen from most electronics stores. Make sure you purchase the right size and model for your phone.

Disassemble the Phone

Once you have all the necessary tools, it's time to start disassembling your phone. Start by removing the back cover and taking out the battery.

Then, using the Phillips head screwdriver, remove all the screws on the back of the phone. Carefully remove the back panel and set it aside.

Next, use the spudger to carefully remove the front bezel and the midframe. Make sure to keep track of all the screws as you remove them. Once the midframe is removed, you'll be able to access the LCD and digitizer.

Replace the Screen

Now that you have access to the LCD and digitizer, you can start the process of replacing the screen. Holding the digitizer in place, carefully remove the old LCD and replace it with the new one.

Test the Screen

Once the phone is reassembled, it's time to test the new screen. Turn on the phone and make sure the LCD is working properly. Check for any dead pixels or other issues with the display. If everything looks good, you're done!
